I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, offering psychotherapy for children, youth, and adults through my private practice and as an associate of the Niagara Stress and Trauma Clinic.

My path to becoming a therapist has blended creativity, psychology, and social justice. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Ontario College of Art and Design and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Counselling. Alongside my education, I worked in early childhood education, human resources, community programming / development, and caregiving—experiences that continue to shape the way I support clients today.

Over the years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including therapeutic day treatment classrooms, residential treatment programs for children and youth, and services supporting foster and adoptive families, families navigating divorce and separation, supervised visitation programs, and those impacted by attachment disruptions. I have also provided specialized services for children and adult survivors of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse, as well as worked within domestic violence programs supporting both victims and individuals seeking to change harmful behaviours.

In addition, I have facilitated therapy groups for adults and children, led parent and foster-parent workshops, recruited and trained early childhood educators, and developed family-centred programming within diverse communities in both Ontario and British Columbia.

These experiences have deepened my commitment to creating a compassionate and supportive space where children, youth, and adults can explore challenges, heal from past experiences, and build stronger connections in their lives. My approach combines clinical expertise with creativity and care, so that each person I work with feels seen, supported, and empowered.

ABOUT THERAPY

As human beings, we all carry the capacity for personal growth. By finding meaning and seeking balance, we can move toward fulfilling our potential. My approach is empathic and supportive, designed to empower and motivate you in your own unique process. I provide the structure and encouragement needed to help you build on your creativity, wisdom, self-compassion, and resilience.

I offer a respectful and confidential space where you can speak openly about your personal and family history, formative experiences, beliefs, feelings, and motivations. Together, we will explore your life experiences, strengthen trust in yourself, connect with your inner resources, and develop new ways of meeting challenges. The goal is to help you take effective steps that nurture healing and lasting growth.

When working with children and youth, I create a warm, safe, and confidential environment where they can express themselves and share concerns. I use empathy and playfulness to build a trusting relationship, always respecting each child’s perspective. Art and play techniques are often incorporated to support communication and emotional expression. I also provide parent support sessions to explore ways families can continue fostering their child’s goals between therapy sessions.

Session Fee: $160.00
